From download to offline map

  1. Download the ZIP to your Android device. Keep it zipped.
  2. Check the app’s cache location and size before importing. Allow enough space for the package and your other maps.
  3. Open Settings → Cache → Import offline tiles and select the ZIP.
  4. Select OpenTopoMap (Archive/Preloaded) as the tile source and OpenTopoMap as the base map in Layers.
  5. Move to the selected region and an included zoom level. Increase the app’s maximum zoom if needed. Test in airplane mode before heading out.

Imported tiles live in the app’s shared cache. Clearing the map cache or applying cache settings removes them. Keep the ZIP for re-importing. The package date is its build date, not a guarantee that its underlying map data is current.
